Job summary

SUNSETRIDGE is seeking an RN Supervisor for the night shift to oversee nursing activities and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role involves directing the nursing staff, maintaining policies, and coordinating with administration to deliver quality resident care.

The supervisor will participate in QA efforts, manage staffing, and ensure proper discharge planning while maintaining patient safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must hold an active RN license in the state.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during the tour of duty.
• Direct and coordinate nursing services in accordance with regulations.
• Prepare and maintain Nursing Service procedures and manuals.
• Participate in QA programs and facility surveys as needed.
• Manage staff scheduling, performance, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure resident care plans are followed and updated as required.
• Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges with clinical input.
• Collaborate with committees (Infection Control, Quality, etc.).
