Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor – Inpatient Med/Surg East to lead patient care delivery, ensure staffing, and optimize flow and bed management. This role is full-time, 40 hours per week, and works closely with physicians and staff to uphold Mercy's mission and service standards.

The position emphasizes mentorship, accountability and professional growth. Applicants should hold an active Missouri RN license with BLS, and a BSN is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license or temporary permit in Missouri.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association.
• BSN preferred; active RN license in good standing encouraged.
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience in Med/Surg setting highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes delegated managerial duties.

Education
