Job summary

The Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan Society is responsible for delivering individualized nursing care to residents, following the nursing process from assessment to evaluation. You will collaborate with residents, families, and the inter-disciplinary team to plan and implement care within standards and the Nurse Practice Act.

Role may include charge nurse duties and delegation to licensed and unlicensed personnel.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and communication with inter-disciplinary team.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff within competency and license requirements.
