Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized resident care. Collaborates with residents, family and an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care across all phases of health maintenance and treatment.

The role may function as charge nurse and requires a current RN license; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Comprehensive benefits and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Hold an unencumbered RN license in the applicable state.
• Maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, assess residents, and educate on health maintenance and preventive care.
• May serve as charge nurse and supervise licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.
