Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process, collaborates with residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team, and plans, implements, and evaluates care across all phases of health maintenance and treatment.

This part-time role includes 12-hour day shifts, 24 weekly hours, requires an unencumbered RN license in the practice state, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practice state.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate resident care.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams.
• Educate residents and families; ensure safe, effective care and documentation.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff per scope and competence.
