Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN House Supervisor to provide leadership for Nursing Services during evening and night shifts, coordinating care across the hospital and supporting teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, communication, and patient-centered care, blending supervision with hospital operations and ensuring continuity of care during shifts.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Oklahoma.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS and ALS/ACLS required.
• Demonstrated experience as a professional nurse with administrative and supervisory competence.
• Strong communication, problem solving, decision making, and leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• CPI training completed within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hospital-wide nursing activities and ensure continuity of patient care.
• Involve patient, family, or care partner to meet various needs.
• Create and implement individualized plans of care using nursing knowledge.
• Integrate direct and indirect patient care for diagnoses and comorbidities.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and develop goals, treatment and discharge plans.
• Complete hourly rounding to enhance communication and safety.
• Evaluate environment to keep it patient-friendly and safe.
• Participate in bedside report to support patient/family understanding.
