Job summary

St. Mary’s Hospital seeks an experienced Facility Nursing House Supervisor to maintain continuity of patient care in absence of unit nurse managers/directors. You will supervise hospital staff, assign care, and ensure safety and quality across units.

Responsibilities include evaluating care, coordinating with ROC and leaders, and expediting materials delivery. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and leadership experience; PALS/ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where working or covered by compact (required).
• BLS Basic Life Support (required).
• PALS, ACLS (preferred).
• Nurse Executive Certification or designated specialty certification (preferred).
• 2+ years nursing experience; charge nurse or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate hospital personnel to maintain safe, continuous patient care.
• Assign patient care based on staff ability and patient needs.
• Evaluate care and provide feedback to staff; escalate to leadership as needed.
• Oversee nursing care on units and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with ROC and department leaders for patient care assignments.
