Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid, OK, is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to lead Nursing Services during evening and night shifts.

You will coordinate hospital-wide nursing activities, ensure safe, high-quality patient care, and support interdepartmental teams. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and oversight with weekend and holiday rotations, bedside report participation, and development of care plans.

Qualifications

• Current RN Licensure in the State of Oklahoma
• ADN required; BSN preferred
• BLS and ALS/ACLS required
• Demonstrated experience as a professional nurse with administrative and supervisory competence
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
• Basic computer skills required
• CPI (TEAM De‑Escalation) Training completed within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Coordinating hospital-wide nursing activities and ensuring continuity of patient care
• Involving the patient, family, or designated care partner to meet educational, physical, psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and population-specific needs
• Constructing and implementing individualized plans of care using nursing knowledge and skill
• Integrating direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnoses and co-morbidities
• Coordinating interdisciplinary care and developing goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans
• Completing purposeful hourly rounding to enhance communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs
• Proactively evaluating the environment to ensure it remains patient-friendly and safe
• Participating in bedside report to support patient/family understanding, reduce anxiety, and address care concerns
