Job summary

AdventHealth in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Night shift in a full-time capacity. You will provide comprehensive patient care, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a safe, healing environment.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
• Experience as a nurse in acute care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological and psychosocial domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications/treatments per orders and monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and self-care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in medical records.
• Respond to code situations promptly and stabilize patients.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development.
