Qualifications

• RN license and BLS certification required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes.
• Evaluate plan effectiveness and adjust care to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance are met.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly to stabilize patients.
