AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time night shift. Eligible clinicians can grow through the Clinical Ladder, with salary adjustments based on advancement and performance criteria.

The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with the care team to optimize outcomes. Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the applicable state.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care; revise as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and ensure effective communication within the team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plans and outcomes; adjust as needed to improve patient health and outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed to maintain a safe hospital environment.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
