Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Obstetrics RN for the St. Francis Eastside level II nursery.

The role delivers comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and newborn patients, using strong organizational and leadership skills to assess status and develop care plans. Responsibilities include collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process across pregnancy, birth, postpartum and neonatal care, and ensuring a safe, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS (preferred; ACLS acceptable) and NRP certifications.
• EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred).
• One year of RN experience; OB/ED/CC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Addresses OB/women's health care for diverse patient populations including newborns.
• Provides OB/women's health nursing care inpatient and outpatient as applicable.
• Applies the nursing process across pregnancy, birth, postpartum, gynecologic and neonatal care.
• Delivers safe medication administration per policy and procedures.
• Performs triage, prioritization, assessment, education, stabilization and emergency management.
