Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Obstetrics for the Level II Nursery at St. Francis Eastside. You will provide comprehensive nursing care for obstetric patients, support triage and emergency management, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

This role requires an active RN license and OB experience. Graduate nurses with an accredited nursing degree and current BLS/ACLS credentials are preferred, with NRP and fetal monitoring certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Basic Life Support preferred upon hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program preferred at hire; must obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
• One (1) year of professional RN experience; OB/ED/CC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to obstetric patients.
• Use nursing process to assess status, prioritize problems, and plan care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team for woman-, newborn-, and family-centered care.
• Administer medications safely and manage triage and emergency situations.
• Develop and perform care plans to improve outcomes and ensure a safe environment.
