Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Obstetrics for Level II Nursery at St. Francis Eastside. The role focuses on delivering high-quality obstetric and neonatal nursing care across inpatient and outpatient settings, with emphasis on safety, triage, and patient education.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree and RN licensure, with OB/ED/CCU experience preferred. This position is a night shift with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor).
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire or acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• NRP certification preferred upon hire with 3-month deadline.
• 1 year of RN experience in OB, ED or Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide obstetric/women’s health nursing care for inpatient and outpatient needs.
• Apply the nursing process across pregnancy, birth, postpartum and neonatal care.
• Manage triage, prioritization, assessment, stabilization and emergency care.
• Administer medications safely per policy and state practice rules.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
