Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an Obstetrics (OB) Registered Nurse (RN) at St. Rita's Medical Center to deliver exceptional nursing care for obstetric patients.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and apply the nursing process across pregnancy, birth and postpartum care. The role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care for women and newborns.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications preferred upon hire; NRP preferred within 3 months of hire; Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provides obstetrical/women's health nursing care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Applies the nursing process across pregnancy, birth, postpartum, gynecologic and neonatal care.
• Delivers medications safely according to state practice and policies.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Performs triage, prioritization, assessment, education, stabilization and emergency management.
