Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mother Infant Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. The OB RN will provide high-quality nursing care, coordinate with the care team and develop care plans for mothers and newborns.

The role requires graduate nursing education, active RN licensure, and strong assessment skills. Night shift coverage is included; comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS (preferred; must obtain prior to direct patient care); ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (preferred).
• 1 year of professional RN experience; OB/ED/CC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide OB/Women's Health nursing care inpatient/outpatient.
• Apply the nursing process across pregnancy, birth, postpartum, gynecology and neonate.
• Deliver care to women of all ages requiring triage, prioritization, assessment, education, stabilization and emergency management.
• Administer medications in a safe manner per policy.
