ARMStaffing is seeking a NICU Registered Nurse for the night shift in Florida on a 13-week contract. The role involves caring for infants in Level 2–3 NICU, monitoring sick newborns, and working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and family support.

Requirements include Level III NICU experience and mandatory certifications (BLS, NRP, STABLE). Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, and other benefits are offered by ARMStaffing.

Job Description

The NICU Registered Nurse will care for infants in a Level 2-3 NICU unit, providing specialized nursing care to patients born at less than 32 weeks of gestation and those with critical illnesses. This role requires working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support for newborns and their families.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment including ventilators, heart monitors, and more.
• Coordinate care with neonatal specialists, lactation consultants, and other healthcare providers.
• Provide emotional support and education to families dealing with high-stress situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• All candidates must have Level III NICU experience.
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with Jet vents, Oscillator vents, Nitric, and central lines preferred.
