Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a NICU Registered Nurse for the night shift in Florida on a 13-week contract. The role involves caring for infants in Level 2–3 NICU, monitoring sick newborns, and working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and family support.

Requirements include Level III NICU experience and mandatory certifications (BLS, NRP, STABLE). Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, and other benefits are offered by ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

Level III NICU nursing experience required.
BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications mandatory.
Experience with Jet vents, Oscillator vents, Nitric, and central lines preferred.
Strong critical thinking, emotional empathy, and excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and health status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Utilize advanced medical equipment including ventilators and heart monitors.
Coordinate care with neonatal specialists, lactation consultants, and other healthcare providers.
Provide emotional support and education to families in high-stress situations.
