Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a Registered Nurse with Level IV NICU experience for a 13-week assignment in Cincinnati, OH. The NICU handles high-acuity neonates, including intubated patients requiring vigilant care and rapid problem-solving.

Shifts include 3x12-hour nights and days. You will administer medications, monitor patients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while using advanced equipment like servo ventilators and nitric oxide to support critical care families.

Qualifications

  • Current OH or Compact RN License.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Level IV NICU experience.
  • Experience with ventilators and tracheostomy care is mandatory.
  • Pediatric nursing experience is preferred.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with Level IV NICU experience to provide care to a high volume of acute and intubated neonates. The nurse will be involved in managing complex medical conditions, providing support for neonates with surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological issues.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and provide nursing care for critically ill neonates.
  • Monitor and assess patient status, maintaining a focus on critical and high-acuity cases.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
