Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a 13-week contract in Seattle. The role focuses on delivering high-level critical care in a 54-bed Level III NICU, supporting very low birth weight infants and those requiring ventilatory support.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, assist with high-risk deliveries, and educate families on neonate development. Requires Washington RN license, BLS, and NRP; 2+ years NICU experience in a Level III/IV setting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years NICU nursing experience in level III/IV setting.
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
  • Active RN license in Washington state required.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 4x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This 54-bed level III unit serves as a regional referral center for high-risk infants, specializing in very low birth weight preemies who require ventilatory support. The RN will work in a state-of-the-art unit providing critical care to neonates.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level ongoing care to critically ill and extremely low birth weight infants.
  • Monitor and manage ventilatory support for neonates requiring intensive care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform critical procedures including blood draws and central line care.
  • Educate families on care and developmental needs of neonates.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience as a permanent staff member with at least 3 years of NICU experience in a level III or IV setting.
  • Current BLS and NRP certifications.
  • No pending licenses will be accepted.
  • Experience in teaching hospitals is preferred.
