ARMStaffing in New York, NY is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The NICU nurse will provide advanced care for critically ill infants in a high-census environment, coordinating with the care team and using EPIC for documentation.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and NRP, with Level 3 NICU experience preferred. This is a 13‑week contract with 12‑hour day shifts and a guaranteed 36 hours per week, offering comprehensive benefits and ongoing

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care for critically ill infants, working in a high-census environment with a focus on advanced neonatal care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates in need of advanced medical attention.
  • Utilize the EPIC charting system for patient documentation and care coordination.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Perform neonatal resuscitation and stabilize critically ill infants as needed.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour day shift, with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
  • Experience in a Level 3 NICU is preferred.
Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
