Job summary

Banner Health invites newly graduated registered nurses to join the New Nurse Experience Program, a full-time RN position designed to help you transition from student to professional clinician. You will be clinically mentored by unit staff and educators while rotating through select Banner Health facilities.

Successful candidates will stay on their NNE unit for at least 12 months, with weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS card through AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI or ability to obtain before start date.
• No more than 12 months of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to policy and practice standards.
• Formulate and revise care plans with input from patient, family and health team.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate activities, and supervise support staff as needed.
• Document care and communicate status to the care team.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in ongoing education.
