Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a mixed Cardiac/Tele and Neuro/Stroke unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus. This full-time role runs 7:00pm–7:00am, with 4-5 weekends in a 6-week period and rotating holidays.
The RN will deliver bedside and virtual care, document in EPIC, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team. IL licensure, CPR, ACLS within 6 months, and NIHSS within 6 months are required or pursued; BSN preferred.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or higher and current IL RN license.
- CPR certification and ACLS within 6 months of start date.
- NIHSS within 6 months; BSN preferred.
- 1 year of bedside inpatient nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual and bedside nursing care to assigned patients.
- Monitor patients, document in EPIC, and update the bedside RN.
- Perform medication reconciliation and safety checks as needed.
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
