Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neurology Unit on the night shift at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full time, 36 hours per week, with hours from 7:00pm to 7:30am and every other weekend.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care coordination, and education tailored to each patient. Illinois RN licensure and AHA CPR certification are required; BSN preferred and incentives available for performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or BSN from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
• Tailors patient and family teaching to learning needs identified on assessment.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice quality and improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
