Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical for a 13-week night assignment in Washington. The unit has 28 beds, with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio, and requires float coverage region-wide.
The RN will titrate insulin and heparin drips, document in EPIC, and collaborate with CNAs and charge nurses as needed. BSN is not required, but current state licensure and BLS are essential.

Description:Unit notes include clinical profile review and interview by the manager.Travelers will be required to float to other facilities as needed within the region.Unit has 28 beds with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-5.Common diagnoses include general medical patients such as sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, and CHF.RNs are required to titrate insulin and heparin drips.There are no tele monitor techs available on the unit.Telemonitoring is managed from a centralized location.RNs are encouraged to be able to read strips.Charge nurses do not take assignments.There are nurse aides available, with a ratio of 1 CNA to 10-14 patients.RT equipment includes CPAP and established BiPAPs only.Self-scheduling and block scheduling may not be available.Weekend and holiday availability is required.There is a standby requirement based on unit needs.Floating is required as needs arise.Professional colors for scrubs are required, and no scrubs are provided.There is unit-specific orientation.Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts to be canceled per assignment.Charting system used is EPIC.BSN is not required.
