Job summary

CommuniCare Health Services in Akron, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse Mobile MDS Coordinator to support our Midwest division across multiple facilities. The role requires an active Ohio RN license and hands-on MDS/RAI workflow expertise.

You will conduct facility visits, ensure federal and state reimbursement compliance, train staff, and coordinate MDS processes while traveling throughout Ohio (and occasionally Indiana).

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Ohio RN license.
• Minimum 2 years in Medicare/Medicaid and MDS/RAI processes.
• Senior MDS or multi-facility MDS experience preferred.
• AANAC certification highly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate facility compliance with federal regulations and targets for utilization.
• Weekly visits to facilities for intervention, audit and training.
• Review resident clinical records for coverage, utilization, errors, assessments and accurate transmission.
• Provide consultation on federal and state reimbursement systems.
