Job summary

Confidential Healthcare Organization is seeking a Regional MDS Coordinator (RN) to lead MDS programs across multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Cincinnati region. The role requires extensive MDS/RAI expertise, PDPM knowledge, and strong leadership to drive clinical and financial performance.

You will oversee audits, education, and reimbursement strategies while partnering with facility leadership to improve resident outcomes and survey readiness. Regional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Current and active Ohio RN license is required.
• Minimum of 5 years MDS/RAI experience in SNFs or LTAC.
• Prior multi-facility MDS leadership experience is mandatory.
• Proven success managing MDS programs across multiple SNFs.
• Extensive knowledge of MDS 3.0, RAI Manual, PDPM, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, CMS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MDS operations and reimbursement across multiple SNFs.
• Conduct facility audits to ensure CMS/state compliance and reimbursement requirements.
• Review MDS assessments, care plans, documentation, and reimbursement outcomes for accuracy.
• Monitor and improve PDPM performance, CMI, quality measures, and revenue integrity.
• Mentor MDS Coordinators, Directors of Nursing, and interdisciplinary teams.
