ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Medical-Surgical unit in Richmond, Virginia. This 13-week contract covers the day shift (07:00–19:00) on a Level I trauma hospital unit with telemetry capabilities and modern tech including Meditech EMR.

You will deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population, working with a team of 55 in a 33-bed unit. Active RN license, BLS/ACLS credentials, and Med-Surg experience are preferred.

Competenze

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred.

Job Description

Join our dynamic team on the 6 Front Telemetry, Med Surg, Trauma unit, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population. As a Level I trauma hospital, we offer exciting challenges along with opportunities for professional growth. With a total of 33 beds and a dedicated staff of 55, you'll be part of a collaborative environment equipped with advanced technology including EKG, Carescape monitors, and interpretation services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and support in a telemetry unit setting.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Assist in medical procedures such as small I&Ds and peritoneal dialysis.
• Utilize EMR (Meditech) for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred.
• Strong patient focus and positive attitude.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Must pass Basic Rhythm test.
