ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry in Baltimore, MD, on a 13-week contract. Night shifts 3x12 or 4x12 from 19:00–07:30; some weekends/holidays required.

EPIC experience required; active Maryland or Compact license; CPI, BLS, NIHSS; ACLS preferred. Responsibilities include patient assessment, meds, ventilated patient care, phlebotomy, central line care, and telemetry interpretation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry.
• Charge experience preferred.
• Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State.
• BLS and NIHSS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CPI certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' health status, recognizing and responding to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and manage patient care plans.
• Provide care for ventilated patients and manage respiratory therapy support.
• Perform phlebotomy, central line care, and blood product administration.
• Utilize telemetry for cardiac monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with various healthcare professionals.
• Ensure adherence to safety and isolation precautions, managing patient and staff safety at all times.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting, including chronic ventilated patients requiring respiratory support. The clinician must be able to recognize changes in health status and provide appropriate care. Experience with the EPIC system is required.
