Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week Med/Surg contract in the United States. The position runs 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends, requiring strong patient care in a fast-paced setting and proficiency with MEDITECH EMR.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, BLS, and preferred NIHSS; ACLS and rhythm interpretation are a plus. Prior Med/Surg experience is desirable, and ARMStaffing provides comprehensive benefits and support.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg unit for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will possess a strong nursing background with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform various procedures including bronchoscopies and EGD/colonoscopy assistance.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR (MEDITECH).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and rhythm interpretation skills are a plus.
• Previous experience in Med/Surg or similar acute care settings is desirable.
