Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Johnston-Willis Hospital will provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including those who are ventilated and require titration of sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive medications. The unit features 10 beds and utilizes GE bedside telemetry monitoring and Meditech EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rapid sequence intubation (RSI) and arterial or central line placement.
• Administer slow/continuous dialysis via TABLO (SLED).

Required Experience

• Proficiency with the care of ventilated patients.
• Experience with titration of sedation, analgesia, and vasoactive cardiac medications.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS required, CCRN preferred.
