Job summary

Endeavor Health's Edward Main Hospital in Naperville is seeking an experienced RN for the Medical Oncology Unit. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week, daytime shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays, focusing on professional nursing care under the Illinois Nurse Practice Act.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Nursing, at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience, Illinois RN license, current CPR, and chemo/biotherapy certification within a year of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR Certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Chemo or Biotherapy Certification within 1 year of hire date.
• If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assesses patient condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, records observations.
• Delegates appropriate tasks and functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
