Job summary
Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking an experienced RN for the Medical Oncology Unit. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including rotating weekends and holidays.
The position offers competitive hourly pay based on expertise and years of experience. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing, with at least one year of inpatient RN experience.
Qualifications
- Requires 1+ years' RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if Associate is highest, must obtain Bachelor's within five years.
- Current State of Illinois RN licensure.
- Current CPR Certification; Chemo/Biotherapy Certification within 1 year of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care according to the Illinois Nursing Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Employs critical thinking, assesses condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress.
- Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
- Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
- Duties may vary by unit or shift.
