Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Edward Main Hospital in Naperville is seeking an RN for the Medical Oncology Unit. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week with day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm and rotating weekends and holidays.

The position requires a Bachelor’s or higher in Nursing, at least 1 year of RN experience in an inpatient unit, and Illinois RN licensure with CPR certification. Chemo/biotherapy certification within 1 year of hire is expected.

Qualifications

• Requires 1+ years’ RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• If ADN is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with state laws and hospital policies.
• Assesses patient condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress and documents observations.
• Delegates tasks and works as part of the unit team to meet patient care goals.
