Job summary

Baptist Health in Richmond, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Telemetry on a full-time days shift (7A-7P). The 22-bed unit cares for general medical-surgical and telemetry patients including pneumonia, CHF, stroke, post-op cases and more, with focus on safe patient-centered care and teamwork.

You'll follow the nursing process, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support healing and wellness.

Qualifications

Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
Current RN licensure or temporary Kentucky work permit.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred (ADN required).
Completion and maintenance of BLS; ACLS & PALS (or ENPC) within 6 months of hire; NIHSS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.
Delegation of nursing care activities and supervision.
Establish and maintain a plan for delivery of nursing care.
Follow hospital and department policies and procedures.
