Baptist Health Richmond is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Telemetry care on the Med Surg/Tele units. This full-time role covers 7A-7P shifts on Telemetry units that handle general medical, surgical, ESRD, stroke, and chest pain patients.
Responsibilities include direct patient care under RN supervision, assisting with hygiene, feeding, I&O, specimen collection, linen changes, and communicating patient information to the nursing team.
Competenze
- Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Mansioni
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
- Record intake and output and transport specimens for analysis.
- Change and transport soiled linens; maintain clean patient room.
- Assist with activity, turning and repositioning as directed by a nurse.
- Communicate patient information and priorities to the nurse.
