Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN Day shift (7:00am – 7:00pm) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with the care team and providers to ensure safe outcomes, following established nursing models and organizational values.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, TX-licensed RN (or compact), BLS, and ACLS within 6 months. Prior acute care experience is preferred, with a focus on advocacy for patients and families.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associateield of nursing degree required; BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license.
• BLS certification (ARC or AHA)
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire or transfer (ARC or AHA)
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred

Mansioni

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes.
• Administer medications and document care in medical record; monitor responses.
• Provide prompt and compassionate patient care, addressing requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up, translating medical terms when needed.
