Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN day shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborate with the care team. You will follow the Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage nursing model and use available staffing support and technology to enhance safety and efficiency.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, TX RN license (compact accepted), BLS and ACLS within 6 months, and acute care experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
• BSN or higher preferred within 24 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift.
• Administer medications and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, and medications.
