Qualifications

• Bachelor of Sciences degree preferred or equivalent nursing education.
• Associate in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or equivalent.
• Internal MLKCH Versant Nurse Residency Program applicants considered.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing process for problem solving and planning.
• Assesses and prioritizes care; follows planned care.
• Provides age-appropriate care and uses current literature for clinical decisions.
• Maintains patient satisfaction through interactions.
• Develops therapeutic nurse/patient relationships; conducts hourly rounds.
• Communicates using SBAR during hand-offs.
