Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse to provide expert RN care in a 12-hour shift environment. You will organize, plan, and deliver patient-centered services based on the Watson Model of Care, addressing diverse needs and family involvement.

Responsibilities include nursing process, SBAR handoffs, and coordination with care managers for discharge planning. Qualifications include BSN preferred, CAL RN license, and relevant certifications.

Formación

• Education and clinical certificates are required or preferred.
• One year of clinical nursing experience or Med/Surg/Telemetry experience preferred.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Perform nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Prioritize and coordinate care, ensuring timely follow-up of plans.
• Demonstrate care using age-appropriate and evidence-based practices.
• Document care and hand off using SBAR in all transitions.
• Coordinate discharge planning and involve care managers when needed.
• Supervise ancillary staff and participate in unit orientation.

BLS certification

ACLS certification

Spanish bilingual

Educación

Bachelor of Sciences degree preferred

Associate in Nursing
