Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a 12-hour shift. The RN will organize, plan, and direct nursing activities, applying the Watson Model of Care and focusing on patient/family-centered care.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, collaboration with the care team, and participation in quality improvement efforts to support hospital mission and core values.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; ADN or diploma acceptable.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience; Med/Surg/Telemetry preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; basic computer skills; CPR/ACLS/CPI certifications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates nursing process to plan and coordinate patient care.
• Performs focused nursing assessments and prioritizes care.
• Provides age-appropriate care and applies current literature to decisions.
• Maintains therapeutic nurse/patient relationships and hourly rounds.
• Documents care using IPOC and Watson Model of Care per policy.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary discharge planning for defined patients.
