Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse responsible for 12-hour shifts and high quality patient care.

The RN uses the Watson Model of Care to tailor plans for a defined patient population, with emphasis on safety, patient/family engagement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Responsibilities include comprehensive nursing assessments, accurate documentation, SBAR handoffs, and active participation in discharge planning.

Qualifikationen

• Education: BSN preferred; ADN or diploma acceptable for internal candidates.
• Experience: minimum of one year clinical nursing experience; Med/Surg/Telemetry preferred.
• Skills: BLS/ACLS, EKG competence, CPI training; bilingual Spanish encouraged.

Aufgaben

• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and prioritize patient needs.
• Document care via IPOC and SBAR handoffs with accuracy.
• Maintain patient safety, infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate discharge planning with care managers and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide basic hygiene, ADL assistance and family education.
