The Clinical Staff Nurse at MLK Community Healthcare provides high-quality, patient-centered care for an identified group of patients. Reporting to the Director of the ICU, the nurse applies the Watson Model of Care to plan, deliver, and evaluate care with an emphasis on safety and family involvement.

Responsibilities include using the nursing process, documenting IPOC, and participating in discharge planning with the care team while adhering to regulatory standards and hospital values.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; ASN or Diploma acceptable.
• Internal MLKCH Versant Nurse Residency Program candidates encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Perform nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Document IPOC and communicate with physicians using SBAR.
• Coordinate discharge planning with Care Managers and interdisciplinary teams.

Basic EKG Competence

Bilingual Spanish

Basic computer skills

EMR experience

Formation

BSN preferred

ASN/ Nursing Diploma or equivalent
