Job summary

Mercy Health in Kings Mills, OH is seeking a Progressive Care RN for the Med Surg Telemetry unit to deliver compassionate nursing care in a busy hospital setting.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, perform assessments, develop care plans and advocate for patient safety. RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are required or preferred. This role runs 36 hours per week with an evenings/nights shift.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• CPR/BLS required; ACLS preferred at hire and must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment, analyze data, create a care plan, implement treatment and evaluate effectiveness.
• Serve as point of contact for patients’ care coordination throughout hospital departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement in the department.
• Administer medications safely in line with policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
