Job summary

UMass Memorial Health's Milford Regional Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care using the nursing process from admission to discharge. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a diverse patient population on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities include coordinating discharge planning, supervising care within the unit, and delegating tasks as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts RN licensure and registration required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required for select areas within 6 months.
• BSN highly preferred; knowledge of nursing principles essential.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates care plans including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care within the unit.
• Delegates tasks to others per job description and competency.

Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration

BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

ACLS certification

PALS certification

NRP Advanced Provider certification

BSN degree in Nursing
