Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Med/Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Float Pool. You will provide expert nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and evaluation of care for Med/Surg, Telemetry, and PCU patients, patient and family education about medications, and meticulous charting.

Qualifications

• Required Florida RN license; compact licensure allowed with FL license within 60 days.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• No travel required.
• CCRN/ONC/PCCN/ CMSRN etc certifications listed in job posting notes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care patients.
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patient records, posting tests and results.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
