AdventHealth Parker in Colorado seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Requirements include an RN license, Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), 1 year of Med-Surg experience, and BLS. Sign-on bonus of $20,000 and relocation assistance are available. Night shift eligible.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Med Surg experience required.
• RN license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, reassessing as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to care team members.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and interventions.
