Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care plan development, medication administration, patient education, and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Candidates should hold an Associate’s in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), be licensed as an RN, and have BLS. 1+ year acute care experience is preferred; sign-on bonus up to $20,000 may apply.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and update regularly.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and hospital protocol.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, effective care.
• Document care activities and outcomes promptly.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Maintain infection controls and safety standards.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise care provided by team members as needed.
• Engage in professional development and quality improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations to stabilize patients.
