Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN shifts in the 3 Main, MedSurg department located at UAB St Vincent's Birmingham. • Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; communicates patient condition to the team.
• Serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
