Job summary

Avita Health System in Galion, OH, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MedSurg Department. This full-time ICU/MedSurg role features a commitment bonus up to $25,000 to attract dedicated professionals.

As an RN, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support families while maintaining patient advocacy aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• Preferred: two (2) or more years of nursing experience; telemetry experience; PALS certification for charge trained nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care of patients within the unit.
• Ensures continuity of care between shifts by supervising nursing assistants, LPNs and staff.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and maintains patient advocacy.
